Krilogy® Presents Check to FamilyForward, the 2020 Krilogy® Cares Partner

Each year, team members choose a St. Louis area non-profit as the firm’s Krilogy® Cares Foundation partner, allowing the opportunity to rally around a common cause and make a substantial impact. This year, FamilyForward was chosen as the 2020 Krilogy® Cares partner. Despite a year in which traditional fundraising activities were not possible, the Krilogy® team got creative in the final stretch of the campaign to raise over $12,000 for FamilyForward.

As the year progressed, social distancing and working remotely allowed for the opportunity to rethink how the team could reach their fundraising goals. Wealth Advisor Kristin Fomon, who co-chairs the Krilogy® 360 initiative for inclusion and diversity, led the charge with a six-week fundraising drive and a pledge for Krilogy® 360 to match donations. An additional match was offered by the Krilogy® Cares Foundation, bringing the final grand total raised to $12,750.

“This fall, I realized that the year was quickly winding down, along with our timeline to raise as much money as possible for FamilyForward,” said Fomon. “Every year, team members are always passionate about their support for our Krilogy® Cares partner. I knew if we put out the call, we’d get an overwhelming response. I’m so proud to be part of a team that cares so much about making an impact in the community.”

Krilogy® President and CEO Kent Skornia and Wealth Advisor Stacy Sloas, who co-chairs Krilogy® 360 with Fomon, presented the check to FamilyForward CEO Karen Nolte and Chief Development Officer Jessica Dederer on December 21st.

“Krilogy’s values of dedication, leadership and abundance were alive and in motion for this effort,” said Skornia. “Krilogizers are well known for serving others, putting in the hard work to get things done and focusing on accomplishment for the good of all. Everyone rose to the challenge and played an important role in making our 2020 Krilogy® Cares initiative for FamilyForward a success.”
