Paul Gabriel joined Krilogy as Director of Capital Markets, Head of Fixed Income in 2017 with over thirty years of experience in institutional portfolio management, risk analysis, trading and sales.

Paul holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with emphasis in Accounting and Finance, from Indiana University. In his previous work with other broker dealers, he obtained and held the following FINRA Licenses: Series 7, General Securities Representative; Series 24, General Securities Principal; Series 27, Financial and Operations Principal; and Series 53, Municipal Securities Principal. He currently holds his Investment Advisor Series 65 and NC State Series 63.

Paul brings the experience of having served in high level positions including: Co-Founder / President and CEO of Carolina Capital Markets Inc., Chapel Hill, NC; Senior Vice President-Managing Director of Capital Markets Group, Commerce Bank, St Louis, Missouri; Managing Director-Capital Markets Group SBK Brooks Invest Corp., Cleveland, Ohio; and Senior Vice President-Capital Markets Group Valdes & Moreno, Kansas City, Missouri. He is well-versed in all fixed income market segments including Treasury Bonds, Federal Agency Securities, Corporate Bonds, Mortgage-Backed Securities and Municipal Bonds. Paul’s experience includes credit research, portfolio analysis and investment strategy.

Paul is married to Lisa and they have two children, John and Caroline. Paul is an avid golfer and spends a good deal of time hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains.
