Jean M. Russell, CFP®
Jean is passionate about bringing clients in touch with their goals, and helping to make them reality.
She began her career in the telecommunications industry in California, before moving her young family to the Pacific Northwest. As Director of Client Services for a major advertising firm, Jean headed the service team for technology clients. Her focus shifted to financial services in 2005, while helping her extended family through the Four D’s of personal finance: Death, Disability, Debt and Divorce.
Ms. Russell has a B.A. in Public Service from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. Her financial services career began while living in the United Arab Emirates with her husband, a commercial pilot. As a member of the American Advisory Team of Holborn Assets, Ltd., Dubai, Ms. Russell advised Americans living abroad on matters common to all professionals, and those unique to expatriate families.
Today, Jean and her husband, Joe, reside in St. Louis. Their blended family of five children live, work and study hither and yon. Jean joined Krilogy Financial in 2017. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation and National Forest Homeowners Association; is a U.S. Lacrosse certified youth and Double-Goal coach, and a Master Gardener. Jean’s favorite activities include tennis, family gatherings and exploring the great outdoors.
