Jacob has the heart of a teacher and coach when working with clients. He believes in the importance of focusing on life goals first and using money as a tool to achieve those goals. He loves building life-long relationships with his friends and clients.

Jacob has been in the financial services industry since 2008 and has been practicing comprehensive financial planning for clients since 2013. He graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Finance. Jacob is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®. Before his career in Financial Planning, Jacob consulted with organizations to help them plan for disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity in response to natural or man-made disasters.

Jacob grew up in Waterloo, Illinois, where many of his family members still call home. He and his wife, Kate, and two sons, Maxwell and Weston, now live in Grantwood Village township near Grant’s Farm. Jacob loves spending free time with his family, coaching his kids’ sports, and helping them learn and experience new things.
