Elizabeth F. Connelly joined Krilogy as Executive Vice President, Wealth Advisor in 2013 with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. She holds a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law and a B.A. from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. She is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA – 1993), a Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP – 2000), and has her Series 7, Series 66 and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.
Elizabeth has long been known for her innovative tailored strategies guiding clients along the path to achieving their long-term financial goals. Because of her dedication to personalized service, she has developed enduring client relationships that have spanned decades. Having spent her entire career working with families and individuals who own businesses, she is well-known for her advice to clients on both their business and personal financial needs.
For high-net-worth individuals and families, she provides customized strategies that include personal wealth management and preservation, trust and estate planning services, educational needs and retirement planning. She often partners with a team of professionals and specialists to assist in addressing unique needs. She implements regular reviews and sets a follow-up timeline for accomplishing tasks and goals.
For business clients, she works with owners from start up to maturity with specialty in benefit plans, cash management, short and long-term financing, transfer strategies and business succession planning. Among those business clients are physician groups, lawyer associations, construction companies, manufacturing companies and a thoroughbred brokerage firm.
She has an extensive record of community service including current Board President of the Signature Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors, member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame Financial Advisory Committee, Emeritus member of the Board of Regents of Rockhurst University, former member of the Rockhurst University Leadership Council, former President and current member of the Rockhurst Heritage Society – St. Louis division, past Chairman and member of St. Louis University Bequest & Gift Council, former President and member of the Board of Directors of Springboard, former Vice President of Civic Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO), former member of the Voices for Children Honorary Benefit Committee, the Michael Jones Foundation Board of Directors, the Junior League of St. Louis, the Girl Scout Planned Giving Committee, the Foundation of Spirit where she served as Vice President of the Board of Directors, and Advisory Board of the Hospice Service Division of CompreHealth, Inc. Elizabeth was co-coordinator of the Parish School of Religion at St. Clement of Rome 2011-2018, and prior taught 8th grade PSR for 12 years.
Elizabeth brings the experience of having served in high-level positions including Managing Director and Senior Trust Officer, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President and Manager of Trust and Estate Planning Services in major area banks, trust departments, wealth management and investment banking firms.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), former member of BAMSL Board of Governors and former Chairperson of the Probate and Trust Law Steering Committee of BAMSL. She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association.
Elizabeth and her husband, Patrick, have 2 children, Anna and Vincent. She enjoys group exercise, bike riding with her husband, traveling with her family and friends and entertaining.
