Diane is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner® who enjoys helping people avoid mistakes, attain personal fulfillment and celebrate their hopes and dreams come true. With 38 years in the financial services industry, Diane has spent the last 30 years providing Comprehensive Wealth Management for her clients. She founded The Sher Group in 2003, which joined Krilogy in 2016.

Professionally, Diane is known for her curiosity and staying current on technical issues, life planning skills, the healthcare and financial services industries and public policy. She averages over 60 hours of continuing education credits per year.

With a Bachelors Degree from both Stephens College (Fashion Design) and University of Missouri – St Louis (Accounting). Diane believes she brings “creative analysis and solutions” to her practice. Among her professional memberships are the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Diane is passionate about St Louis Cardinals Baseball, golf, travel and entertaining. She enjoys the theatre and art in many mediums, as well as jazz, rock and classical music.

With her father as her teacher during his recovery from a major illness, Diane developed a love of arithmetic and problem-solving at age 4. Later on she saw her path to a degree and career in public accounting which provided a springboard for all that has followed.

She gives generously of her time to numerous volunteer and charitable endeavors. As a long-time board member, volunteer and advocate for the YMCA at branch, Metro and state levels, Diane embraces the Y’s history and spirit of inclusion, community leadership, health and charity, as well as personal and social responsibility. Diane joined the Board of the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis in 2015, serves on the Programs Committee and chairs the Communications Committee. She has served on the Finance Committee of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and the Pension Boards of her home community, University City.
