Daniel S. Leritz is the Quantitative Strategist for Krilogy Portfolio Solutions. Dan is the creator of the Catapult Strategy, a proprietary quantitative investment strategy, which serves as a foundation to his work with Krilogy. He is a co-founder of, and Portfolio Manager for, the KCM Catapult Large Cap Growth Equity Fund, L.P. Dan first began work on what would become the Catapult Strategy in 2008, with the strategy fully defined in 2013. For this, Dan created and is the President & Portfolio Manager of Catapult Investment Management, an independent investment advisory practice that holds claim to the Catapult Strategy. With Catapult IM, Dan completed his work delineating the strategy and welcomed the first investors into the Catapult Strategy in April 2013.

Dan started his investment services career in 2001 as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley. As his career evolved, Dan focused his efforts towards directing the sales and marketing for independent Large Cap Growth portfolio managers; he served as Director of Institutional Sales for Sparrow Capital Management and Vice President of Sales for Daedalus Capital. In 2009, Dan returned to the brokerage side of the industry with Morgan Keegan, where he worked with corporate leadership to help define what would become the Catapult Strategy as an applicable methodology.

Dan has earned a Masters in International Business from the Boeing Institute of International Business at Saint Louis University. He received his undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford, OH, where he graduated with two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Towards these degrees, he has spent time studying in Mexico and China, as well as conducting social work in Mexico and Bolivia.

Besides financial services, Dan has worked as an independent political consultant and campaign manager for Missouri-based candidates for public office. He also has worked as an independent consultant to international logistics companies, including serving as an executive for a startup cargo airline. Dan is an active local volunteer, as an Alumni Board Member of St. Louis University High School and a Peer Host with St. Louis Transplants. He is a contributing writer on economic development for local media. Dan is an avid reader, a competitive poker player, a proficient archer, and an occasional golfer; he enjoys time with his extended family, including his niece and three nephews. Dan lives in the City of St. Louis.
