Charles decided to enter the financial planning industry upon seeing the desperate need for a sound financial plan and ongoing advice after losing his mother to cancer as a college student. He is passionate about partnering with his clients to navigate the many intricate and complex issues life presents while building and maintaining wealth. Emphasizing a high level of transparency and communication, his practice focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management for families, professionals, and closely held businesses. Paramount to his decision to partner with Krilogy were three key factors:

  • The ability to serve his clients in a fiduciary capacity, which means recommendations must be suitable at all times for clients
  • Independence, which allows the ability to offer unbiased advice
  • Team-based approach, which provides the ability to draw upon the expertise of Krilogy’s entire team of advisors in efforts to provide a comprehensive and coordinated financial planning experience for clients.

Charles graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning. While at the University of Missouri, he was an active member and officer of the Financial Planning Student Association and was chosen as Treasurer by his peers both semesters of his senior year. Additionally, Charles volunteered for the MO Tax/VITA program, providing free tax assistance and advice for moderate to low-income families in Mid-Missouri while completing his studies.

Charles currently holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies and continues his path of education, pursuing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) industry designation.

Charles currently serves on the junior board for Rainbow Village, a local organization that provides and maintains homes for adults with developmental disabilities, as well as RISE Young Professionals, a leading nonprofit organization working to promote the revitalization of blighted neighborhoods in the St. Louis community. In his free time, Charles enjoys spending time with his family and his hobbies include golf, hockey, soccer, and fishing.
