Charles specializes in providing comprehensive wealth management for families and business owners, designing tailored strategies that reflect their unique circumstances. He places an emphasis on always being authentic and transparent with every client, and is passionate about helping them streamline the many intricate and complex issues life presents while building and maintaining wealth.
Business owners have been around Charles since a young age. Both his late grandfather and father started their own construction companies as General Contractors, and his uncle owns a local manufacturing company. He is no stranger to the difficulty in maintaining a balance between investing in your business and saving for retirement when coupled with uncertain monthly cash flows. Over the years, he has enjoyed working with a range of owners in multiple stages—from initially starting their business to executing their succession plan and beginning the next chapter of their lives. Main areas of focus for Charles are benefit plans, executive benefits, key employee planning and ownership transfer strategies.
Individuals and Families
Most of Charles’ clients are individuals and families who are around 5 years away from, or are currently enjoying, retirement. Coordinating the timing of Social Security, proper evaluation of pension options, Medicare, long-term care, retirement income, family legacy intentions, estate tax mitigation and philanthropy can be daunting. Charles’ approach is to keep things as simple as possible. He develops and educates on a variety of options, empowering clients to make informed decisions on what solutions are best for them.
Why Wealth Management?
Charles ultimately decided to enter the financial planning industry upon seeing the desperate need for a sound financial plan and proactive advice after losing his mother to cancer as a college student. He decided to switch majors and graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning. While a bittersweet way to find your calling, Charles is convicted that this is exactly what he is meant to do.
