Andrew T. Forrester, CFP®, M.Ed.
With a sincere care for his clients’ financial futures, Drew Forrester brings the communication style of an educator along with his professional, financial acumen to all interactions, arming clients with the knowledge they need to make wise decisions. His steadfast attention to detail and passion for ensuring that clients fully understand their financial situation and options, no matter how complex they may be, has made Drew a trusted advisor for those he serves.
Drew works with a variety of professionals, and focuses his practice on established physicians, fellows and residents. In fact, he’s experienced the financial situations doctors face first-hand as his wife progressed through medical school and fellowship. Drew found that there was simply not a great deal of education and resources for his wife and her colleagues as they struggled with knowing they needed to take action, but not knowing exactly what to do. It was this realization that led him to the desire to help. As a result, he changed his career from high school math teacher to financial advisor, a role in which he’s quickly earned the trust and respect of his clients.
As a team member at Krilogy, Drew embodies the culture of support and collaboration, working closely alongside his teammates to provide the highest level of service to clients. Drew approaches all conversations as an educator first, taking the time to learn exactly where each person is in their knowledge and tailoring the discussion to ensure that all involved fully understand and gain the confidence needed to make decisions.
Drew is well-known for his ability to get things done both for clients and within the firm. He played a key role in the transition of a newly acquired firm into the Krilogy platform and culture, where his attention to detail and leadership put clients and team members at ease. Drew is a member of the Krilogy Physician Practice, and is also serves a point person for the firm’s Disability Insurance Practice.
Active in the community, Drew currently serves as Board Chair for the Young Professionals Board for the First Tee of St. Louis. He co-chaired the organizations inaugural 5K run in 2016, which was the first-ever event for the Young Professionals Board.
