Amanda B. Young
Amanda launched her career in 2007 at Bank of America, where she spent eight years as a Personal Banker and Assistant Branch Manager. With her client-driven focus, Amanda joined Merrill Lynch in 2015, bringing with her a commitment to provide a boutique level of professional and proactive service to clients and their families. While working for Merrill Lynch, Amanda previously passed her Series 7 exam and Series 66 licenses administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. These exams are designed to assess the competency of an entry-level registered representative of a broker-dealer who wish to provide investment advice and effect securities transactions for clients.
Today, she serves as a first point of contact for many clients – answering questions and handling their administrative and financial planning needs.
A lifelong resident of the Saint Louis area, Amanda earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from University of Missouri – Saint Louis. She and her husband, Adam, reside five minutes from the Krilogy office with their dog Phoenix. Amanda has completed the New York Marathon, Boston Marathon, Saint Louis Marathon, and Chicago Marathon. Amanda volunteers at the Saint Louis Area Food Bank and at Saint Joseph’s Institute for the Deaf (where she’s actively served, since college). Each year, Amanda also supports and participates in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk (and its year-long fundraising efforts). Amanda was very proud to receive the high honor of being called a Saint Jude Hero for her support of the Saint Jude Charity.
