I could say a great deal about Drew, as there are so many wonderful attributes he brings to the firm. Immediately upon joining Krilogy, Drew made a positive impact on his teammates and the organization. His keen ability to connect deeply with his colleagues and clients has allowed him to flourish as an advisor, teammate and mentor.
Holding a Master’s degree in Education, Drew was an experienced high school math teacher when he joined Krilogy in 2014. He was already a skilled communicator and empathetic coach, with a natural tendency to help others. These are the most essential qualities of a financial advisor. Drew mastered the academic material quickly, began building a solid practice, passed the difficult CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam, and was promoted to Team Lead, all within 5 years.
If you ask others at Krilogy about Drew, the feedback is glowing, with team members expressing gratitude for what he offers:
“Drew is an exceptional person, and I’m thankful he is on our team. His personal values and work ethic are the foundation of his professional excellence, making him exactly the kind of advisor Krilogy seeks to develop.” – Kent Skornia, Krilogy President and CEO.
Last December, Drew received Krilogy’s Art of Accomplishment award, given to the team member who has continuously gone above and beyond to help the entire team and who embodies all that Krilogy stands for: Dedication, Abundance, and Leadership. Drew was characteristically humble when asked about his recent achievements.
“2018 was an amazing year, and not only for me. Being selected for this award by my team members is an honor that I will never forget and is further affirmation that advisory is a calling for me. Being promoted to Team Lead and having the opportunity to mentor, coach, and develop our newer advisors is something that I am very much looking forward to. Even so, I think the most amazing event of 2018 was welcoming our first child, Ellie. I feel so grateful for these gifts, and am extremely thankful that I get to build my practice at a great firm like Krilogy.”
Alongside his accomplishments at work, Drew supports the First Tee of Greater St. Louis, where he has served on the Board of Directors as well as chairing the Young Professionals Board. He plays acoustic guitar for the Worship Music team at his church, and enjoys golf, tennis and running in addition to spending quality time with Ellie, and his wife, Kate.
