Associate Wealth Advisor (KADS)
Job Summary:

  • Build a fee-based Wealth Management Practice that focuses on planning for Individuals and Corporations

Formal Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, statistics or economics, or one to three years of relevant work experience
  • Both of the following licenses (or equivalent) required at time of hire (Paid by firm 1st attempt(s) only)
    • NASAA Series 65
    • Life and Health Insurance License
  • Proficiency with or willingness to become proficient with eMoney Advisor, Tamarac Advisor Suite, fi360®, and Morningstar™
  • financial software
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Financial Planner (Creve Coeur Location)
Job Summary:
The Financial Planner will directly partner with a Senior Financial Advisor in serving existing and prospective clients. This team member will perform various tasks, including portfolio reviews, financial planning projections using financial planning software, and coordination and implementation of all aspects of client financial plans. You must have the ability to use critical-thinking skills, work within a team and anticipate and act on Client and Senior Advisor’s needs and questions. Qualified candidates are detail-oriented, structured and have a high degree of follow-through.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain client financial and /or suitability information to create and implement client financial plans
  • Conduct substantive research or information gathering that will be used with making securities product recommendations or providing investment advice (e.g. conducting due diligence, etc.)
  • Verbal and/or written communications with prospective or existing clients regarding financial matters
  • Handle large volume of email with specific adherence to Senior Advisor’s process
  • Assist in the preparation and follow up for client meetings including preparation of proposals, applications and transfer paperwork
  • Update Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and Client notes
  • Prepare and coordinate the preparation of correspondence, reports, 401(k) paperwork, account paperwork and special projects
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding client accounts
  • Input information into financial planning software and run scenarios
  • Research information and perform detailed document reviews
  • Monitor clients’ financial situation with detail and accuracy
  • Attend client meetings with Senior Financial Advisor
  • Occasional heavy lifting of files and materials up to 20 pounds
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree – Finance preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation required
  • Five years or more financial planning industry experience preferred
  • Insurance Product knowledge a plus
  • Solid understanding of investment products, types of accounts and financial planning process
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office software; experience with financial planning software a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, as well as organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to take and follow instruction from Senior Advisor
  • Ability to work and collaborate with Senior Advisor’s team
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Exceptional phone and client service skills
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information and systems
  • Detail-oriented, accurate and organized
  • Able to work with all levels of the firm
  • 401(k) knowledge a plus
