As one of the longest tenured members of Krilogy, Patrick Monahan is well known for his keen sense of leadership and drive to provide the highest level of client service. His passion for exploring complex, sophisticated financial needs and applying solutions has made him a trusted partner at Krilogy and to the clients he serves.

Patrick works with many professionals, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals and families, and has dedicated his career to building wealth management strategies to help them achieve their goals. Patrick is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, responsible for managing Krilogy’s investment portfolios, which may include: conducting investment research, voting on investment strategies and portfolio positions, monitoring fund performance and analyzing market conditions.

As a leader at Krilogy, Patrick has been instrumental in developing the foundation of the firm, including internal processes, meeting report materials and various training programs. He performs ongoing training for the internal team on topics related to the financial needs of wealthy clients and business owners and strategies to address their complex financial state. Patrick mentors other advisors on building and maintaining client relationships.

Outside the office, Patrick is very active in the community. Patrick is the Chair of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Development Committee – St. Louis Chapter, where he is responsible for partnering with the Association’s Board members to cross-promote the charity’s events and fundraisers. He also played a key role in building a partnership between the St. Louis Blues and the Association’s annual Walk event. In 2012, Patrick was the recipient of the Honoree Leadership Award for the MS Corporate Achiever’s Club, where he raised funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Patrick received his Bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning with a minor in Business from the University of Missouri – Columbia. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and hockey, reading and spending time with family and friends. Patrick and his wife, Krista, and their three children reside in St. Louis, Missouri.
