Matthew began his career with Krilogy in March of 2010 and became Partner in January of 2019. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Missouri-Columbia. Matthew has also received the retirement plan industry designations of the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®).

Matthew has worked with a variety of clients at Krilogy, but his sole focus is employer sponsored retirement plans: 401(k)s, Simple IRAs, Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, etc.  In 2013, Matthew founded Krilogy Retirement Plan Advisors, where he leads a team of advisors to provide comprehensive services to all of Krilogy’s retirement plan clients.

Krilogy Retirement Plan Advisors was created using the same values we provide our personal financial planning clients:

  • Independence: Maintaining complete independence, we serve our clients by searching for providers and funds that best match our clients’ needs.
  • Teamwork: Utilizing the team of Krilogy advisors to provide personalized support to participants and plan sponsors.

Matthew lives in Webster Groves with his wife, Katie, and three children, Jack, Drew and Ellie. He enjoys playing golf, working out, coaching sports and spending time with family and friends. He founded the Michael Palumbo Memorial Scholarship Fund in 2010 at St. Louis University High School (SLUH) and chairs the annual golf tournament in April. The scholarship fund has raised over $150,000 to support scholars from Loyola Academy of St. Louis to attend SLUH.
